Mix It Up Days at Gar-Field
Students thrive, socially and academically in environments that are inclusive. On November 9th and 10th, the students at Gar-field will participate in Mix It Up Day. Students will be encouraged to sit with others during lunch and meet new people to promote cultural and ethnic diversity in our school.
Gar-Field Band - Veterans' Day Concert
The Gar-Field Band will be performing their first concert of the school year on Tuesday evening, November 10th. The concert will be held in the auditorium and the performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The concert features Staff Sargeant J.B. Greear from the U.S. Army's "Old Guard" Fife and Drum Corps based at Fort Myer, Arlington. SSG Greear will be performing the trumpet solo from the theme from the movie "J.F.K." We will also play a medley of the marches from the various branches of the Armed Forces (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard) to end our concert. Veterans of the armed forces in attendance for the concert will be asked to stand during their branch's hymn so that they can be honored for their service.

Channel 9 Hometown Heroes Showcase GF Students
Channel 9 news reporter Kristin Fisher came to Gar-Field HS on October 30th to highlight the Gar-Field Key Club, Marine Corps JROTC and the Gar-Field Cheerleading Squad.

SchoolFusion/Edulink InTouch Online Accounts
New: Use the same username and password to login to both the Gar-Field web page and Edulink InTouch Online. You must have a SchoolFusion account in order to have an Edulink account. Please wait 1 - 2 school days before logging into Edulink Intouch since there is a time delay to transfer login information to the Intouch system.
Students: Get your login information from your teacher or counselor.
Parents: Create your own account using a special Passcode that must be picked up at school with a picture id. Passcodes are available every school day for pickup from the student's Guidance Counselor.

Activity Buses 2009 - 2010
Activity buses provide transportation for students who stay after school for academic or extra-curricular activities.
4:00 P.M. BUS - Tuesday and Thursday ONLY for academic opportunities
5:00 P.M. BUS - Tuesday and Thursday ONLY for IB Transfer Students Only
5:00 P.M. BUS - Monday through Friday for athletic and club activities

Parent Resource Center
The Prince William County Public Schools Office of Special Education Parent Resource Center has recently extended its operating hours. The Center will now be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Evening and summer visits to the Center are by appointment only. The Center is located on the first floor of the Kelly Leadership Center, 14715 Bristow Road in Manassas. (click here to read more, or read the Spanish version)
