Bus Routes
2014-15 Bus Line-up

Activity Bus: Gar-Field High School runs a number of buses for students staying after school for activities. All buses run Monday through Thursday. Please see the links below for times and route information:

The 4:40 p.m. activity bus
The 5:20 p.m. activity bus
The IB bus

Gar-Field HS to host IBMA College Fair APRIL 18, 2015
The fourth annual IBMA College Fair is coming to Gar-Field HS on Saturday, April 18th, 2015.  Doors open at 12 noon and the Fair ends at 3:00pm
 
The IBMA College Fair is the only College Fair in the area that is for IBDP students in Grade 11 (and prospective IBDP students in Grades 9 and 10).  It is expected that we will have around 150 and universities at Gar-Field HS.  Click here to see an updated list of universities that have committed to attending.  

IB students may attend the IBMA College Fair at no cost.  It is requested that students register for the College Fair in order to create a database that can be shared with the colleges and universities that attend.  Click here to register.

This year, IBMA will offer a panel discussion for UK and Canadian admissions, FASFA workshops, and a session hosted by Dan Coast on how to help students advocate for college credit.

GFHS Department Awards
The Gar-Field Department Awards night will be on Thursday, April 30.  Student check-in and a reception will start at 6:00 p.m. in the lower cafeteria and the ceremony will start at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  Invited students should check in by 6:30 p.m.

  
  
  
 
Visitor Parking & Late Students
Visitor Parking is located on the baseball side of the school. There are special spots indicated for school visitors. All visitors, as well as late students, must enter through door #1 by the front office.





 
Yearbooks
 Don't miss out on all your school memories! Use the following link to order yours today.

The Gar-Field High School yearbook staff would like to remind all families that students who wish to pre-order their yearbook with a name stamp must do so by Monday, January 26.  Students can reserve their copy of the yearbook with a $20 down payment or families can order online by using the link found on Gar-Field's website.  Families who have any questions can reach out to Celeste Jacques. [Yearbook orders]

Alumni Walkway

The Alumni Walkway in Ralph Burnett Stadium has been installed and awaits your brick!  The walkway will be inscribed with the names of Gar-Field students, Alumni, Teachers, Faculty, Clubs and Groups.

By reserving a brick, you can show generations to come what Gar-Field means to you.  In addition, you are helping the student athletes at Gar-Field.  All Alumni Walkway proceeds will help support the Gar-Field Athletic Program.

Student Parking Permits
All students who drive to Gar-Field High School must have a valid parking permit on the vehicle.  The cost of the parking permit is $100.00.  To obtain a parking permit, fill out the Student Parking Permit Application and bring the completed form to the Security Office. The deadline is September 30.

Check Cashing Policy
We welcome your checks at Gar-Field High School.  However, if your check is returned for any reason, we will electronically present it to your bank for the face value plus a $35.00 processing fee.  Any protest or bad check return fee charged by your financial institution, and all other charges, interest, and attorney's fees are your responsibility. This action will be taken without further notice.  We reserve the right to decline your check.
